Today saw the launch of al massimo caffè • museo, the elegant café restaurant opened after two years of work adapting the spaces of Palazzo Massimo. It features a terrace in the heart of Rome, with plants all around, large white umbrellas for shade and tables to match – a place to relax after your visit to the museum. There’s also a large inside room, with generously sized windows and modern furnishings. The café will be open every day from morning to evening, even when the museum itself is shut. There’s a double entrance, allowing you access to the dining spaces both from the exhibition rooms and from outside – the door is on via Amendola. Soon too (as announced) a small area for the promotion of agricultural products from Lazio will be opening in the premises on via Amendola, on the corner with via D’Azeglio.
